**Procurement Officer**
We are currently seeking a competent problem solver with excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to optimising processes to ensure the delivery of value-driven procurement solutions to meet organisational needs.
**Main Responsibilities**
- ensure all procurement activities adhere to company approvals, reporting and authorisation controls
- ably participate in procurement and sourcing projects, monitoring milestones and communicating with relevant stakeholders
- build expertise in Wagners employees who engage in procurement activities
- develop productive relationships with key suppliers, contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality outcomes
- identify, manage, and mitigate procurement risks to enable the organisation to meet its obligations and maximise business opportunity
- raise and process purchase requisitions and complete goods receipting tasks
**What you'll bring**
To be successful in this role you will need:
- minimum of 2 years procurement or relevant administrative experience
- excellent time management skills in planning and prioritising tasks
- calm authority and the ability to work well under pressure
- attention to detail, desire to contribute to a productive team and a positive and helpful attitude in the workplace
- demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office and an enterprise resource program (e.g. Coupa)
A relevant professional qualification is desirable, however this may be offset by a combination of demonstrated skills and experience in a similar role.
