We're currently tackling one of the Pilbara's most ambitious mining infrastructure projects for BHP on Nyiyaparli Country, featuring a new primary crusher, a 16km overland conveyor, a radial stacker, and stockpiling systems.
This is your chance to be part of something big.About the RoleAs our Electrical Superintendent, you'll lead daily electrical construction operations, foster a strong safety culture, and ensure the project is delivered on time and to the highest standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise and initiative will make a real impact.Key ResponsibilitiesLead from the front: Oversee all electrical construction activities on-siteDrive performance: Monitor progress and ensure targets are metChampion safety: Uphold SHEQ standards and company policiesMentor and develop: Support trades personnel in skill developmentCommunicate effectively: Run daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and liaise with stakeholdersInnovate: Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencyRoster & BenefitsRoster: 14 days on / 7 days offTravel: Fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) from all Australian capital citiesBenefits: Competitive pay and involvement in a major BHP expansion projectYour Experience & QualificationsMinimum 3 years of supervisory experience in the electrical industryRelevant Electrical trade qualifications and certificatesWA "A" Grade Electrical LicenseCertificate IV in Building & Construction Supervision or Project ManagementProven leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teamsStrong problem-solving skills and a calm, focused approach under pressureCurrent Australian Driver's Licence (manual preferred)A valid White Card, EWP, and Working at Heights certificationFirst Aid & CPR/LV and a current Police ClearanceSection 44 TrainingBHP InductedExperience in the utilities, construction, or resources sectorAvailability to start immediatelyWhy Join GenusAt Genus, our culture is our strength.
