
Corporate Communications Specialist

Key duties
- Provide expert advice and guidance on communications strategies and issues to key stakeholders.
- Adopt a strategic approach to communications that involves working across the operational units of TEQ to identify emerging opportunities and issues and develop responses and strategies that consider the needs of stakeholders.
- Proactively source, research and author to a high level a variety of communications including newsletters, corporate intranet, social media and website content, media releases, speeches, event packs and briefing documents and other tools as requested.
- Provide on-the-ground support at a range of TEQ supported events.
- Develop strong links across TEQ groups to ensure two-way feedback relating to corporate communications issues.
- Travel and participate in work activities outside of normal business hours including on the weekends as required.

- Provide accurate, timely and well-considered communications and media advice and strategies to a range of stakeholders internally and externally at all levels.
- Analyse issues and develop and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain high-quality relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Thrive in a high-intensity, demanding, fast-paced and rapidly and regularly changing environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
A degree in Communications, Journalism or a related discipline is highly regarded, though not mandatory.
Additional Information
