Switchboard Operator/Receptionist - Multiple Part Time Positions

An exciting opportunity exists to join Austin Health's Switchboard Services team. Our Team is required to work on switchboard as well the reception desk located at the main entrance of the Austin Hospital.

The Switchboard is a high-volume call centre taking 4000-4500 calls per day and the role is responsible for answering, screening and appropriately prioritising all telephone calls and enquiries as well as initiating emergency response.

Multiple Part-Time positions available:

- Position one: 24 hours (various shifts)
- Position two: 30 hours (various shifts)

Selection Criteria Desirable: Essential Knowledge and skills: - Excellent communication skills including telephone and switchboard experience - Patient-centered approach to service delivery - Demonstrated experience and commitment to meet customer's needs - Ability to use initiative and work autonomously as well as in a team
