**SMS Mining Services is a privately owned, West Australian based Mining Contractor. Founded in 2000, SMS has progressed from being solely Equipment Rental to now having extensive involvement in the Maintenance, Contract Mining and Drill and Blast Divisions.**

We are now looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our busy finance team on a permanent basis

**Key responsibilities**
- The accurate and timely processing of all invoicing to customers based on specific customer requirements
- Where relevant, the upload of claim and invoice documentation to the customer's online portal
- Budget to actuals analysis reporting
- Maintenance of account receivable files and records
- Maintenance and administration of the customer database
- Monitoring and reporting of Work in Progress balances
- Assistance with month end accounting duties
- Management of other administration areas on an ad hoc basis

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous direct customer invoicing experience covering the full process from invoice processing to receipt.
- Experience in the mining industry highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- An aptitude for working with accounting software and ability to quickly learn systems.
- Strong literacy in the Microsoft suite of products - Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Willing to work as part of a team and interact with all levels within the business.
