Bus transportation is provided to and from West Wyalong at the beginning and end of your shift.This roster is 5 / 2 4 / 3 and a 10-hour day.We understand that flexible work means something different to everyone and encourage you to have a conversation about the flexible work options (such as alternative rosters) available.About the RoleThis newly created position offers a hands-on opportunity to support the Geotechnical Engineering team in a dynamic underground mining environment.
Reporting to the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you'll be undertaking underground inspections, managing QAQC data, maintaining and expanding our seismic and subsidence monitoring systems, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data to the Geotechnical team.What sets this role apart :Opportunity to work in an expanding and dynamic underground mine.Practical training to undertake underground inspections, management of monitoring systems and QAQC data managementUse of cutting-edge instrumentation including extensometers and geophonesA clear pathway to career development, including an option for university studiesYou'll be trusted to work independently once trained, including managing underground inspection requirements, using mobile apps for data collection and contributing to QA / QC processes.

Willingness to learn and spend the majority of the day underground undertaking inspections and providing support to the Geotechical team.We're looking for :Ideally experience in underground mining or instrumentation however candidates without this experience are also encouraged to apply.Enjoys a field based role and is able to manage their time efficientlyA manual driver's licence and ideally a Working at Heights ticket (or willingness to obtain)Basic Microsoft Office skills and confidence using mobile apps for data entryMotivation to grow your career, perhaps even pursue further study in geotechnical engineeringYou'll be joining a team that values safety, excellence, accountability and respect, and a manager who leads with clarity, flexibility and an open-door approach.ClosingAt Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
