**IKAD Engineering** is a proud Western Australian private company with a national and international footprint, which provides a broad range of Project Management and Engineering solutions across a wide variety of Industry Sectors including Defence, Industrial, Mining, Marine, Oil & Gas, and Water Technology.

We are looking for a hands-on Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the daily operations. In this role you will be responsible for running allocated projects, co-ordinating site crews and sub-contractors and purchasing/coordinating the purchase of all project required materials.

**Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to**:

- Coordinate employees, labour hire and sub-contractors to deliver works in a timely, safe and cost-efficient manner.
- Fill any skills or personnel gaps within the team and actively participate in completion of any tasks necessary to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Monitor employee productivity and work quality, providing constructive feedback and training as required.
- Monitor all allocated projects/works and provide Project Manager with regular updates on progress against time and budget requirements.
- Encourage communication and sharing of information between all Business Units.
- Participate actively as a project team member to improve business unit efficiency, reduce costs and assist with the continuous improvement of product/service delivery.
- Interact clearly, constructively and positively with all organisational business units to ensure projects are completed effectively and with mínimal disruption to planned events.
- Conduct quality control inspections/checks on work performed by sub-contractors.
- Evaluate projects and identify and report issues and opportunities to improve ongoing performance.
- Develop and implement project work plans and review as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Present regular reports outlining project progress as well as any identified problems and solutions.
- Complete paint reports and other OQE report requirements.

**Essential Criteria**:

- 2 Years of industrial or commercial painting experience
- Trade certificate in Painting & Decorating or Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application
- Proven leadership skills and abilities
- Confined Space Entry and Working Safely at Heights licence
- Clean and prepare surfaces to specification
- Conduct masking and encapsulating
- Deliver outcomes to a high standard and in line with Project plans and timeframes
- Sound knowledge of industrial coatings
- Competently use airless and conventional spray equipment
- Flexible, reliable and team player

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Forklift Ticket
- C' Class Driver's License
- Elevated Work Platform
- Dogman's/Rigging tickets
