The Marketing & Operations (M&O) teams lead and inspire others to accelerate our customers' digital transformation, deliver on our company priorities and achieve excellence in our business outcomes. Each Area aligns their plans to the worldwide strategy, determines the most optimal local strategy, and leads local planning, execution and ongoing continuous improvement in business, marketing, and operations excellence. In doing so, the M&O teams develop strategy and programs to deliver customer success at scale, across all customer segments, and drive sustainable growth and market share. M&O is often referenced as the team that sits at the centre of the organization with strong alliances with other teams to achieve the agreed upon business outcomes.

**The Opportunity**

**The Go To Market (GTM) Manager, Converged Comms - Teams Phone** sits in the Modern Work Business Group and is accountable for the Area (ANZ) revenue, scorecard, and market share for their assigned solution (Teams Phone).

The GTM Manager is required to have a strong understanding of their product set, and a deep understanding of customer solutions and strategies. This role is seen as the voice and spokesperson of the products they represent within the area subsidiaries. In addition, they must be able to articulate the local competitive landscape and develop local compete strategies and product differentiation by leveraging corporate and local research, partner insights, and customer feedback.

The GTM Manager is responsible for leveraging customer needs, competitive knowledge, and product expertise to drive the relevant business and marketing planning. The GTM Manager understands, orchestrates, and influences customer campaigns, go to market activities, and delivers product, solutions, and customer campaign feedback to the business. An essential aspect of the role of the GTM Manager is to align the content, timing, and delivery of the GTM plan to Microsoft's customers and partners. The GTM must develop strong partnerships across the workstreams of the plan
- marketing, partner, and sales to lead and execute the fiscal year priorities.

**Responsibilities**:
**The Impact You'll Be Making**

**Go To Market Strategy, Planning and Program Lead**
- Develop local business management strategy - partner with usage engines to interpret market opportunity/risk and build appropriate go-to-market strategy and plans.
- Adjust differentiated value proposition and create compelling, localised GTM Plan and integrate with Area marketing activities.

**Product Evangelism**
- Maintain product knowledge and evangelise the product internally and externally to enthusiasts, influencers, press, analysts, partners, and customers.
- Drive seller usage of business value programs, levers, and tools to bring high value scenarios to life.
- Drive Teams Phone usage through deep product knowledge, customer evidence, demos, and modern storytelling of Teams Phone solution.

**Business Management: Manage the Business Priorities**
- Own and drive KPIs and scorecard metrics related to the Rhythm of the Business (ROB) and Correction of Errors (COE)/ Gap plans.
- Develop local business management strategy - partner with workstreams to interpret market opportunity/risk and build appropriate Go-To-Market/COE.

**Orchestrate the Partner Ecosystem enablement for Teams Phone**
- Grow the ecosystem and drive usage with 3rd party solutions.
- Drive awareness of partner value and partner programs with field sellers and Customer Success Managers.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent experience required, relevant fields of study include Marketing, Business, Computer Science

**Experience**
- 10+ years related experience

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Clear understanding of Telco business models and profitability with experience of both sell to and sell through, including Telco product management and lifecycles.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Stakeholder management and influencing with impact
- Can drive leadership in cross group projects to influence and drive decisions; ability to influence and gain support from stakeholders.
- Comfortable with public speaking and representing Microsoft's converged communications portfolio
