QASMT is an academically selective entry, co-educational state school for highly-capable students in Years 7 to 12. Our focus is helping students reach their full potential. It has earned a reputation for rigorous learning and assessment, and as such gives IB DP holders access to the world's leading universities. Students in Years 7 - 10 study the IB Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) and a Diploma Preparation Program.

About the Role
As the Head of Department - Information Technology you will lead the use of information technology (IT) and e-Learning across the school, with the IT team, to ensure QASMT provides a technology-rich learning environment for students and staff.
This role includes the management of the faculty and associated curriculum areas. Experience with the IB curriculum, whilst valued, is not a requirement for this role.
You will be a passionate, high-energy leader who is able to work in a fast-paced, high expectations environment, with a proven record of accomplishment of working with high achieving students.
You will be a high calibre, outstanding curriculum Head of Department with a contemporary leadership style focussed on collegial engagement, collaboration and innovation in order to foster and drive continuous improvement throughout the Academy.
