**About the Role**

We are looking for experienced data administrators with a keen eye for detail, a love for competing project deadlines and outstanding customer service qualities.

Reporting to the Manager, Competitions Administration and Systems, you will join a team of coordinators providing competitions administration services (CAS) to all our Sydney Royal Competitions. Using our bespoke competitions administration software and data base, the purpose of this role is to ensure the integrity of all entries, judging, results, and publications for our agricultural competitions.

This is a highly administrative role, and you will be active in regularly configuring and maintaining our competitions databases in response to changing competition regulations, conditions, and requirements.

**About you...**

You will be significantly involved in working with our developers and participating in user acceptance testing, so you must be comfortable using business technology systems. A high degree of literacy and data entry accuracy is a requirement for this role, and you must be able to transfer your knowledge to others.

**You will have**:

- understanding and capability in technology (laptops, iPads, mobile devices)
- a proven track record in proof reading and editing publications and/or databases
- an eye for configuring and maintaining databases
- ability to coach and support a diverse team in the use of technology
- excellent relationship building
- proven skills in MS Office Suite at an intermediate level
- professionalism, patience, and a "people-first" attitude
- availability to work additional hours, weekends and public holidays as required

We manage the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Royal competitions, the RAS Foundation, Australasian Animal Registry, and the Sydney Showground. The RAS has a team of over 130 full-time staff and an indispensable pool of casual staff who work on the Easter Show, and other Sydney Showground events.
