About the roleA wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join the team at NRS Independent Services Pty Ltd in Young, NSW.
This part-time role is crucial in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, allowing them to live independently and with dignity.What you'll be doingAssisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeepingAccompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community eventsMonitoring client well-being and reporting any changes or concerns to the management teamProviding emotional support and companionship to clientsAdhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and industry regulationsCollaborating with the wider care team to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to client supportWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in aged or disability support, desired but not essential.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clientsEmpathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of othersRelevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability Support, or equivalentA current driver's licence and access to reliable transportationThe ability to work independently as well as part of a teamWhat we offerAt NRS Independent Services Pty Ltd, we are committed to the well-being and professional development of our employees.
