Support Care Worker

We are seeking a Support Care Worker to join our team in providing essential care services to our residents. As a valued member of our community, you will play a vital role in supporting our Personal Care Workers and ensuring our residents live their best lives.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, compassion, and empathy. You will be responsible for providing basic mobility assistance, assisting with meal delivery, supervising residents, and cleaning resident rooms.

You will also provide emotional support to residents and their families, and assist with activities and meaningful pursuits. If you have experience in hospitality or customer service, we encourage you to apply.

To succeed in this role, you will need to hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or be willing to obtain it) and have unlimited working rights in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing basic mobility assistance to residents
  • Assisting with meal delivery and removal of dishes/meal trays
  • Supervising residents in a memory support unit
  • Cleaning resident rooms and laundry duties
  • Providing emotional support to residents and their families
  • Assisting residents to attend activities and engage in meaningful pursuits
Requirements:
  • NDIS Worker Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia
  • Hospitality or customer service experience (desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
