We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Wellness Program Coordinator to join our team Reporting to the Business Manager of our Health and Wellness Team, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating and growing the health and wellness programs in Southwest Sydney.
You will understand the importance of respect, trust and empathy and have the skills to communicate effectively and motivate our clients to live a healthy and active lifestyle, assisting them to live their best life.

Your days will include
- Be the face and 'advocate' of the Health and Wellness programs
- Identifying needs and opportunities for Stepping On Hubs
- Promote, administer and co-ordinate a range of health, wellness and social programs for older people living in the community
- Create and maintain a welcoming vibrant environment, actively engaging members of the local community to participate in programs to improve their health and wellbeing
- Ongoing coordination and management of the program calendars of events
- Coordination of staff and volunteers to facilitate the weekly programs
- Onboarding and administration of clients into requested programs and ongoing management of client records
- Local area promotion and networking to increase membership numbers
- Qualifications in Allied Health, Health Promotion, Leisure and Lifestyle, or similar desirable but not required
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to improving the health, wellbeing and quality of life of older people living in the community
- Enthusiasm for working with older people, their families, carers and advocates to help identify and manage goals and plans to improve their health and wellbeing
- Demonstrated ability to promote and coordinate programs, set timetables and develop program calendars
- Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Client records system (e.g. Procura or Client Management Systems).
- Experience in, or interest in working within aged care
- Current Drivers Licence and registered and insured motor vehicle.
