
Business Support Operations Officer

The Business Support Team is here as the banks "phone a friend". We work to guide the Frontline and Operations teams through questions on product knowledge, procedures, incidents and systems they face daily. We champion the use of procedures, processes with a focus on educating the wider business on how and why we do things as well as where that information is.
As a Business Support Operations Officer at Great Southern Bank, you are responsible for delivering the best experience to our team members when they need a helping hand. You will be an agile team member with a focus on service and wanting to be an expert in your field, others will seek your guidance and support. You are flexible and willing to shift focus numerous times throughout a day while maintaining a high-quality standard. Escalation and identification of opportunities to improve and refine internal processes will be part of your BAU. Working with the Business Support Lead, you will provide insights into hot spots and blockers.
**About you**
- 12 months experience in the Financial Services or related industry with branch and frontline experience highly regarded.
- Strong customer service ethic and the ability to successfully establish and maintain effective relationships.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet and exceed set KPIs and SLAs.
- High level of computer literacy with a proven ability to adapt to new digital/system environments.
- Customer driven and motivated to deliver excellence in all you do.
- Practical, tactical, critical and considered while keeping the big picture and organisational impact front of mind.
- A quick learner who thrives on knowledge gathering and problem solving.
- Organised, love working at pace, at times managing multiple priorities.
- A team player, aware of your weaknesses and delivering based on your strengths.
- Always demonstrating integrity, honesty and transparentise in all you do.
- Ready to lean in to support other teams when needed and have a can-do attitude.
