**About the Role**
- Ensure compliance with all relevant contractual obligations including design assurance, manufacturing liaison, materials compliance and engineering change
- Responsible for ensuring that effective systems are implemented and utilised on the project which deliver defined business objectives whilst ensuring overall compliance to regulatory and customer requirements
- Managing the interface with other functions outside of engineering, e.g. project controls and procurement
- Providing project leadership to the discipline leads on the project
- Taking accountability for the project budget and forecast data and taking corrective action (if required) in consultation with project leads and discipline manager(s)

**About You**
- Experienced Design Manager within the Mineral Sands or Mineral Processing industry
- Track record delivering/ leading multidiscipline engineering detail designs of a range of $5M to $10M in engineering revenue
- Able to develop accurate design budget estimate and regularly forecast cost(s) to complete
- Tertiary qualified professional Engineer, ideally holding a EA membership
- Demonstrated high degree of safety awareness, including appreciation of client site specific safety requirements
- Team player, with ability to teach and guide other team members
- Ability to interact effectively with clients at key decision maker level
- Good verbal and written communication skills
