Stanmore is an Australian resources company with operations and exploration projects in the Bowen and Surat Basins. We have experienced significant growth in the past 12 months and as a result we are looking for highly motivated **Human Resource Specialist** to provide operational and strategic support across our three mine sites.

If you enjoy working in a diverse, fast paced role where you partner with the business to provide practical HR operational support, this could be a great opportunity to join our small HR team and add real value. We offer flexibility for you to base yourself in either Brisbane, Mackay or Moranbah however regular site travel will be required. _This position will initially be for 12 months._

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting the HR execution of the business strategies and operational objectives
- Providing advice and support to operations on ER and IR issues with the ability to quickly assess risk and escalate as appropriate
- Lead enterprise agreement negotiations and guide leaders through the enterprise agreement process
- Represent HR on Projects and Committees across the business
- Provide training and information sessions to leaders on a variety of HR topics
- Provide advice regarding workers compensation cases as required

**To be a success, you will need**:

- Significant experience in a hands-on operational HR role preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment
- Excellent knowledge of IR legislation with experience dealing with unions
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field
- The ability to respond quickly to issues and provide excellent support to leaders
- Collaborative and flexibility to provide assistance with other HR functions as needed.
