**About the role
In the role of Digital Merchandising Manager you will own the creation of digital plans and strategies alongside the supermarket commercial team and your Senior Digital Merchandising Manager for your specific focus area. You will also play a key role in ensuring these plans get delivered by supporting internally within WooliesX to help plan and prioritise resources and strategies across the relevant delivery tribes.

You will provide commercial experience and expertise and create connections between the relevant digital experts in WooliesX, the Supermarkets Commercial team, Cartology and some of our key supplier partners. You will demonstrate the key WooliesX values of Connect, Collaborate & Co-Create to forge stronger and mutually productive relationships. This role will also support initiatives that deliver smart growth & key financial outcomes including Sales, gross profit, margins and compliance, as well as customer outcomes such as NPS, database growth and Voice of Customer.

**Key Responsibilities:
- Play a leading role in the development of the strategic planning of how we activate commercial plans in the digital environment, including engagement with the strategy team and the various other stakeholders across WooliesX and the broader group where required.
- Delivery & execution of the B2C eCom category plans.
- Sharing of appropriate data with commercial team to support the strategic and tactical development of the WooliesX objectives.
- Understand the commercial model of WooliesX and articulate key considerations to stakeholders within WooliesX and the broader Woolworths Group.

- Demonstrated skills in delivering within a large organisation, specifically influencing and collaboration between stakeholders
- Clearly understand and able to work through Problem, Cause, Solution to seek continual improvement
- Balanced approach to sales and profit
- Experience in working in a financial role with set targets
- Experience in Commercial and Operations area such as Assistant Category Manager or equivalent
- Strategic thinking; Data analysis / insights; Business acumen, experience leading teams of buyers/category
- Demonstrated ability to influence, establish and maintain strong relationships with peers & senior management
- Presentation, communication, planning, and leadership skills
- Understanding of strategy, processes & systems
