About the Role

The Digital Retail Merchandiser plays a pivotal role in enhancing the online customer experience. This position is responsible for curating and showcasing products on the website, ensuring that the digital storefront aligns with commercial priorities and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Publish high-quality content in Nova, adhering to established commercial and communication guidelines.
  • Create visually appealing merchandise category grids utilizing the Fredhopper tool.
  • Maintain consistency between editorial content and product offerings using the Perfect Partner AI platform.
  • Publish header notification banners and editorial pages effectively through Drupal.
  • Ensure seamless alignment between editorial content and product offerings.
  • Optimize product placement on the Homepage to align with editorial priorities.
  • Develop and implement effective navigation systems for ease of use.
  • Enhance e-search results to provide a better customer experience.
  • Analyze and propose improvements to product content in collaboration with Group digital and merchandising teams.
E-commerce Performance Analysis
  • Analyze website page performance and navigation paths (Google Analytics).
  • Monitor traffic and sales; adapt e-merch strategies to optimize conversion rates and maximize average basket value.
  • Propose data-driven improvements for customer experience enhancement.
Retail Merchandising Strategies
  • Cross-check sales performance by stores.
  • Conduct sales analysis: analyze product sales performance, identify trends, and track sales through MOS.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, budget estimation, and re-evaluation processes.
  • Manage inventory levels, animate stock offers, and ensure website stock accuracy against Cegid.
  • Collaborate with Digital & Ecommerce Manager to develop buying recommendations based on OTB defined by Merchandise team; monitor deliveries and ensure availability of best sellers online.
Network and Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Group digital team and Merchandising experts.
  • Regularly meet with Regional Retail merchandising teams, VM, and Communications departments.
  • Build strong relationships with local retail teams to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Stay informed about competitors' omnichannel actions and strategies.
  • Share best practices with the E-Merchants community from other markets.
