Our client is a leading provider of integrated refrigerated transport, cold storage and logistics services. They are a 100% Australian, family owned company and have been servicing Australian businesses for over 40 years. Their busy SMITHFIELD depot is currently seeking HC Tug/Yard Drivers for ongoing roles, Monday-Friday.
- The start time for the PM shift Yard Driver can be flexible - $42.56 per hour

**THE ROLE**

Become a key contributor to the operations team by your demonstrated ability to manage your time effectively to fulfil client requirements safely, ensuring that we meet agreed service and quality standards. Working within a demanding, fast-paced environment you will utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to actively collaborate with customers and our operations teams.

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL NEED**
- Minimum 1 year HC experience (Tug driving preferred, with finger dock experience of greater preference)
- Extensive experience with coupling and uncoupling trailers
- Good understanding of load restraint
- High customer service skills, good communication, written and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
- Mature attitude with the ability to work independently
