As the Quality Assurance Manager (12-month fixed-term contract) you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems at Youfoodz. Reporting to the Head of Technical and Quality, this role manages a QA team and oversees QA process development, execution, and verification to ensure compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory standards.

**You will**
- Facilitate food safety and quality system creation, validation and implementation in line with legislative, customer, Food safety and quality standards and internal requirements.
- Oversee HACCP program management
- Manage all verification activities as per verification schedule, including those carried out by
- QC and QA staff, including product and process verification activities for Youfoodz meals and products.
- Manage and drive continuous improvement across all sites and initiate corrective action where necessary to ensure the safety and consistent quality of products. Follow up major or critical customer complaints. Initiate formal corrective action where required.
- Assist with facilitating Food safety and Quality Training
- Complete Weekly Food Safety and QA reporting and other reports as required
- Facilitate and Coordinate 2nd and 3rd Party Audits
- Participate and manage projects in accordance with Youfoodz meal and QA department strategic direction
- Keep up to date with regulatory and industry standards around food safety and quality management.
- Any other task as requested by management

**You have**
- Food Science/Technology Degree
Minimum 5 years of Food Industry Experience in a Food Technical role
- Proven experience managing Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Strong team leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop others.
