Ensure the highest standards of quality, consistency and efficiency of BOH operations.
Your leadership will be key in establishing the operational foundations of Grill Americano Sydney, guiding the team through the challenges of a new opening and setting the stage for long-term success.Senior Sous and Sous Chef opportunities are available.Start date for this position is in October 2025*Skills & Experience:Experience as a Senior Sous or Sous Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environmentAsian cuisine knowledge and experience (highly regarded)Demonstrated success in leading a high-performing teamUnderstanding of financial budgets, food and labour costs is advantageousKnowledge of kitchen operations, inventory management, and food safety standardsAbility to build and maintain effective relationshipsA proactive, problem attitude with commitment to continuous learningStrong organisational skills and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure and fast-paced service periodsOutgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operationsQualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteAvailability to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shiftsWorking with Lucas Restaurants:People are at the core of our success.
