**Your new company**

Based in the northern suburbs of Hobart at a well-known College which provides outstanding educational opportunities for students from Kindergarten to Year 10. With over 1000 students, the College prides itself on providing a high level of teaching and learning opportunities to all their students. After internal growth, the college are looking for a highly capable and organised Student Services Officer to join their team and assist the Student Services Manager (SSM) in the overall planning and organisational tasks, both short and long term, that enable the efficient running of the College.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Student Services Manager and Deputy Principals, your new position will see you responsible for the day-to-day organisation and smooth running of the College. The Student Services Officer works with broad direction and uses their initiative to assist with the Student Services Team with systems and procedures, maintaining school records and documents in accordance with policies required.

Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Maintain Teacher relief database and scheduling in collaboration with the SSM
- Coordinate Classroom changes and other space changes to accommodate events and activities
- Liaise effectively with SSM in the daily bulletins and staff notices
- Support the effective planning across the college
- Provide coverage to the SSM when required

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar rostering, workforce planning or scheduling position. You will be adaptable, show initiative, have the ability to think ahead and be able to work well under pressure.

In addition, you will:

- Ability to work with flexibly included rotating roster of early starts to assist with relief coverage
- High-level communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal), excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated professional integrity, whilst also always upholding a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and judgement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

As this role is based in the education sector you will need to hold a current Working with Vulnerable People Registration and a satisfactory national police criminal history check.

**What you'll get in return**

You will be employed on a permanent full-time basis, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility on start time required, working a 38-hour week.
