Maintenance Supervisor

Melbourne, VIC, AU, 3000We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team working with the Cross Yarra Partnership Maintenance team, on the new Metro Tunnels and Stations Project

Working for John Holland, as part of the Cross Yarra Partnership Maintenance team, the Maintenance Supervisor will help to manage the transition from the construction to the maintenance phase. Once operational you will oversee the delivery of the technical planned and reactive maintenance services. The role will commence in the Mobilisation Phase of the project and transition into the 24-year Maintenance Phase.

The role will ensure that the maintenance is delivered in compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, contractual obligations, business procedures and relevant requirements in relation to rail accreditation.
- Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Observe witness testing throughout the testing and commissioning programme. Raising concerns and developing a deep knowledge of the assets and systems
- Validate the documentation and information generated as part of the maintenance activities, ensure data in the computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and maintenance systems is accurate and up to date
- Support the successful acceptance of O&M Manuals from the D&C team. Validate the documentation and information provided and help integrate these within the CMMS and maintenance systems
- Oversee the delivery of periodic maintenance plans and subcontractor scope of works and liaising with the Franchisee (Metro Trains Melbourne) for execution of the works.
- Oversee the successful delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance obligations
- Ensure contractors and all personnel conducting maintenance activities are suitably inducted, trained, and qualified
- Accountable for ensuring all maintenance activities are undertaken safely with a focus on Zero Harm. Review and maintenance of activity method statements. Update of method statements in consultation with contractors.
- Minimise abatement risks by performance monitoring and reporting in line with Services Specification and contract KPIs
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the client representative, contractual key stakeholders, and end users.
- Ensure legislative obligations are met, including compliance with the relevant Building Codes.
- Supervise subcontractors to achieve targets and foster a high-performance working environment
- Monitor and report on contractor performance and contribute to procurement and scope development
- Conduct onsite safety and risk related audits and inspections. Report findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

To be successful in this key role, you must have:

- Trade or Engineering Maintenance Qualification
- Demonstrative competencies regarding the planning, organising and implementing planned maintenance initiatives across multiple sites.
- a technical team leader capable of leading one or multiple squads during delivery, leading the end-to-end technology from early construction stages through to deployment into service.
- Driving collaboration with cross-functional vendors, key stakeholders & product owners to identify, elaborate and estimate functional and non-functional requirements.
