We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest packaging companies in Australia as our Thomastown site is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to come onboard
Leading the maintenance team the key focus of this role will be to:Develop strategic maintenance plans for the plant and equipment and optimise maintenance systemsLead, supervise and oversee the work of the maintenance team to ensure minimal interruption to manufacturing operationsEnsure all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with manufacturing workplace, health and safety policies and practicesManagement work orders and the oversee of spare parts inventoryProviding downtime reporting, whilst aiming at measuring and minimising unplanned downtime eventsSupport the maintenance team in achieving both team and individual KPIs (as allocated by the Engineering and Maintenance Manager)Support continuous improvement projects in conjunction with the engineering teamWe can offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves.
