Allied Health Research Coordinator

This position offers a unique opportunity for a researcher with broad research skills and interests. The Allied Health Research Coordinator leads and coordinates allied health research in Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. This position facilitates research collaborations between Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and University of the Sunshine Coast and provides specialist support in the expert construction, analysis, interpretation and translation of allied health research.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
Work collaboratively with academic colleagues at the University of the Sunshine Coast to foster excellence in research, professional activities, and policy development in SCHHS and academic disciplines within the School of Health, University of the Sunshine Coast or other comparable organisational units
Support innovative research projects in all areas of allied health practice
Promote a culture that promotes excellence in allied health research, leadership, and continuous quality improvement, to support achievement of priority outcomes relevant to SCHHS and within the School of Health, University of the Sunshine Coast
Implement, review and refine the SCHHS Allied Health Research Support Framework.
