Design Workshop Australia is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Architect or Senior Architect to join our team in Wollongong. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in the delivery of a varying range of architectural projects, working closely with our design team and clients. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in the delivery of a varying range of architectural projects, working closely with our design team and clients. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a collaborative, creative environment.
Responsibilities
Preparation of architectural documentation including Concept Design, Development Application, Construction and Detail Documentation using REVIT
Knowledge of Building Practitioners Act Requirements
Consultant coordination and liaison
Assist in preparation of architectural documentation to varying levels of completion i.e. Feasibility, Development Application, Construction Certificate and Documentation
Understanding and knowledge of local authority codes (DCP and LEP), NCC, Australian Standards, ADG and Housing SEPP Requirements
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with client, council and contractors
Demonstrated abilities to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines
Manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of projects
Someone well organised and motivated, with an eye for detail and the capacity to work on multiple projects.
Requirements
Bachelor of Architecture from an Australian University or equally recognised qualification
Revit Experience Essential
Microsoft Office Essential
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently or within a team environment
Strong work ethic and enthusiasm
