Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions for our clients. This role requires strong technical expertise in Linux and UNIX systems, as well as hands-on experience with cloud platforms like OCI and AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and translate them into cloud infrastructure capabilities
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and highlight best practices and competition
  • Contribute to the timely delivery of cloud-based solutions, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations
  • Provide expert support and act as a lead consultant in resolving technical challenges
  • Develop detailed technical summaries and executive briefs for relevant stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Linux (OEL/RHEL) and/or UNIX (Solaris) systems
  • Hands-on experience with OCI implementation and BAU support, as well as AWS implementation and BAU support
  • Experience building cloud environments using Terraform
  • Excellent management, stakeholder engagement, and technical communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
  • Strong familiarity with supporting Oracle DBAs on Oracle-based infrastructure
  • Familiarity with supporting OLVM
  • Able to configure and support network infrastructure, such as Fortinet and OpenVPN
  • Relevant certifications in OCI, AWS, and Oracle

You must have the ability to obtain a Government security clearance.
