Overview
Physiotherapist - Home Care in Dubbo, NSW. This role involves delivering evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. You will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility and confidence to remain living at home.
Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care.
Support independent living at home by improving mobility and overall wellbeing of clients.
Your Team
You will join an established, supportive group of health professionals who share a passion for helping older Australians live well. The Well-Living approach centers on empowering clients to live their best lives at home, surrounded by the people and community they love.
About You
Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
Demonstrated ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients in the community
Post-graduate experience in a variety of aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings
Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
Confident working independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated computer literacy
Alignment with BaptistCare's values and mission
Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
Unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance
