Overview

Physiotherapist - Home Care in Dubbo, NSW. This role involves delivering evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. You will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility and confidence to remain living at home.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care.
  • Support independent living at home by improving mobility and overall wellbeing of clients.
Your Team

You will join an established, supportive group of health professionals who share a passion for helping older Australians live well. The Well-Living approach centers on empowering clients to live their best lives at home, surrounded by the people and community they love.

About You
  • Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients in the community
  • Post-graduate experience in a variety of aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings
  • Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
  • Confident working independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
  • Alignment with BaptistCare's values and mission
  • Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance
