- Due to our continued growth and project pipeline, there is an opportunity for a Statutory Planner to join our APAC Planning team in Newcastle. Our team is made up of a group of highly skilled and motivated Planners with an enthusiastic approach to life and work. We currently service a pipeline of projects within the commercial, health and sustainable energy sectors.
- With our national Planning hub centred in Newcastle, the team enjoy exposure to a national project pipeline whilst enjoying all the benefits of living in the Hunter area. We work in a flexible office environment and pride ourselves on our dynamic and collaborative approach, positive team culture, regular social events and positive client feedback.Key Responsibilities
**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Planning analysis and research and confident in delivering exceptional results
- Managing projects without direct supervision
- Liaising with clients, councils, consultants & other government agencies
- Compiling of DA lodgment packages
- Experience working across multi-disciplinary projects within a consulting environment
- Business development and high-level client relationship management
**Skills and experience**
Not only will you bring a great attitude and enthusiastic approach to your work, you will also have:
- A degree in town planning or equivalent
- Ideally you will have 3-8 years working experience within a consulting business with direct experience in a town planning, property, development
- Excellent report writing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Enjoys teamwork
