Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service.
FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.

As theCoordinator Audiology, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality audiological care across our service networks.
You'll provide clinical leadership, manage service operations, and support a team of passionate audiologists in delivering patient-centred outcomes.
The successful applicant/s shall undertake professional practice as a Senior Audiologist in accordance with Audiology Australia Code of Conduct, the FSFHG Allied Health Credentialing Policy and Procedure and SMHS policies and guidelines.
As part of an interdisciplinary team, provides high quality advanced Audiology services using extensive knowledge and specialist practice skills, to a diverse and complex caseload.
Provides a specialised level of Audiology advice to other senior medical, nursing, and allied health staff within FSFHG in management of patients including inpatient and outpatient.
Manages staff within the relevant specialty/service areas, including planned / unplanned leave, performance development and management.
Supports the Head of Department by undertaking operational and strategic management and clinical service planning and delivery for Audiology Services.
Drives clinical research and service development in relevant clinical areas.

Eligibility
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility.

As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment.
