**About the role**
Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members' world better. As a Risk, Governance & Public Documents Specialist in our Advice team, you will:
- Lead the oversight of all Advice Unit Risk Management deliverables to ensure the business unit is operating within risk appetite and facilitate the identification, design, and control effectiveness to mitigate risks.
- Perform the role of Risk Manager for the Business Unit.
- Act as a point of expertise for team members and serve as an escalation point for Archer incidents.
- Proactively manage the Business Unit risk and controls to ensure effective risk mitigation
- Proactively manage and undertake the verification of public documents for the business unit, ensuring these tasks are completed within appropriate time frames for both heritage organisations and Advice AFSL's.
- Work with key stakeholders to understand the requirements for verification to schedule and enable verification to be undertaken efficiently.
- Proactively manage the Business Continuity Planning activities for the Business Unit including ensuring harmonisation of processes across both heritage organisations and Advice AFSL's.

**About you**
If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications will include:
- Knowledge of relevant technology systems, advice software and processes.
- Demonstrated advice coaching and compliance experience.
- High degree business acumen, with the ability to deliver within a changing and complex environment.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge and experience in financial advice processes, operations, and processes, including knowledge of the associated legislation that operates within the financial advice environment.
- Qualifications or experience in financial advice including general advice.
