An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced nurse professional to join the leadership team and ensure the effective delivery of care to patients after-hours at a private hospital in Melbourne. This is a Permanent Part-Time opportunity.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the After Hours Coordinator, you will be accountable for the hospital's efficient and effective operational management after-hours. The role supports and encompasses planning, implementing, and evaluating care practices, policy compliance, processes, and services.

You will lead a passionate team of nurses and collaboratively work and consult with on-shift doctors to ensure the best practice and patient outcomes are achieved. This role reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- At least 5 years of post-graduate experience within Acute Care;
- ALS competency essential;
- HDU experience desirable;
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice;
- Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) will be highly regarded;
- The ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster across all night shifts is essential;
- You will be a positive and effective leader with the ability to motivate others;

**ABOUT THE FACILITY**

The hospital, located in Melbourne, is an acute 72-bed Surgical and Medical facility in Hampton's bayside suburb. The facility has 3 Operating Theatres, 2 Procedure Rooms, a Day Surgery unit, and a 4 bed High Dependency unit. It also offers on-site Radiology and Pathology services, Physiotherapy services, and busy specialist consulting suites. A comprehensive range of services is provided, including Breast Surgery, ENT, Gastrointestinal Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, and Vascular Surgery.
