The Role
Alkimos PS is seeking a motivated School Psychologist to join our friendly team.
The successful applicant will:
develop and maintain positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders, consult widely, and work effectively with school leadership, students, and parents
collaborate closely with school leadership and the Student Services team
be able to work well as part of a team and independently when required
support the wellbeing and educational outcomes of students through school psychology services and programs

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
hold or be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment
obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start
consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start

Qualifications / Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability to implement school psychology services and programs in an educational environment to maximise student learning outcomes
Demonstrated knowledge of the implementation and evaluation of psychological approaches appropriate for individual, group, and system-level intervention
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to produce correspondence, reports, case notes, and facilitate interviews and training
Highly developed interpersonal skills to work autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Ability to apply analytical and conceptual skills to issues identification, risk assessment, intervention, and evaluation
