School psychologists are registered health practitioners who support the work of schools in enhancing student achievement, engagement and wellbeing. They work in a range of diverse education settings with students, school leaders, staff, parents, the community and interagency partners, applying their expertise in mental health, learning, human development, behaviour and school systems.

Whether you are at the beginning of your psychology career or an experienced psychologist looking for a change, becoming a school psychologist makes a real difference in the lives of young people and can take you to amazing places across WA.

Who should apply?

  • hold (or are eligible for) provisional or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia;

  • Salary range from $90,977 to $146,769, depending on experience.
  • Psychology Board of Australia approved supervision to support the completion of your internship program.
