**Responsibilities**:
**The purpose of this role**

The Technology Specialist (also known as Presales) is a key member of the Business Applications sales pursuit team and is a strategic thinker, proactive problem solver, sales & technical roadblock resolver displaying a growth mindset with deep functional and technical knowledge in the workload.

The following are the role responsibilities for the Microsoft Business Applications Technology Specialist (Presales):
- Exemplify technical workload and business process depth to accelerate opportunity results.- Business Value-led Presales Expertise: Lead Discovery and guide Envisioning Workshop as functional SME in each opportunity yielding output of customer-agreed business challenges and win themes prioritized with business value.
- Leverage workload expertise to build effective customer-centric solution assessments and designs based on business value and deliver compelling presentations to improve win rates.- Strategic Proactive Seller- Lead Discovery and guide Envisioning Workshop as functional SME in each opportunity yielding output of customer-agreed business challenges and win themes prioritized with business value.- Maximize deal execution through the customer journey as a strategic, proactive seller.
- Team with BA Sales Executives to uncover, identify and engage opportunities to drive category performance.
- # BDM/CxO connections/engagements across category-specific roles with Business Value Insights by targeted personas.

**What skills do you need to have?**

To deliver on responsibilities in helping customers grow their long-term capabilities through increased utilisation of Microsoft products, you will have the following traits and abilities:

- Organisational, presentation, and solution demonstration skills through storytelling
- Experience engaging with executives
- Consultative Selling and Challenger mindset. Validated experience in consultative selling approach, including bringing innovative ideas to customer's problems and being customer focused.
- Experience and passion for learning; trying, failing and learning from that; sharing practices and knowledge for others' benefit.
- Love Problem solving to help our customers remove roadblocks to success.
- Being able to Articulate Business value of our solutions to our customers and stakeholders
