Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Digital Technology Specialist to join our team. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our software applications.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing efficient backend processes, creating RESTful public web APIs, and contributing to the development of our industry-leading website.

You will also be responsible for researching new technologies and engineering complete solutions to complex problems, proposing and implementing performance optimizations and scaling strategies, working with the team to integrate your projects into the application, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of our systems and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in web development
  • Experience in PHP, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS
  • Object Oriented development
  • MySQL - both SQL query language and database structure/design
  • Version control software, preferably Mercurial or Git
