Anatoli Pizza & Pasta is seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team.
We pride ourselves on authentic Italian cuisine and are looking for a professional who can contribute expertise, creativity, and leadership to our culinary operations.
Plans, organizes, prepares, and cooks meals in a dining or catering establishment.
Oversees kitchen operations and ensures quality, safety, and efficiency in food production.Key Responsibilities:Planning menus in collaboration with managementEstimating food and labour costs, and ordering food and kitchen supplies accordinglyMonitoring the quality and presentation of dishes at every stage of preparationDiscussing food preparation procedures with Managers, Dietitians, and front-of-house staffDemonstrating culinary techniques and advising team members on cooking proceduresPreparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishesEnforcing hygiene and food safety regulations in line with Australian standardsMay be responsible for selecting and training kitchen staffMay also freeze and preserve foods to maintain freshness and reduce wasteRequired Qualifications & Experience:Minimum qualification: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Commercial Cookery or a related field (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)Proven experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen (preferably 2+ years)Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen managementAbility to manage time and resources efficiently in a high-pressure environmentTeam leadership, training, and supervisory skillsPassion for high-quality, consistent food and customer satisfactionWhy Join Us?
