Leading a team of 5 finance professionals, you will be instrumental in fostering seamless collaboration and supporting decision making with the Senior Leadership Team, the Audit & Risk Committee, the Board of Directors and Asahi Group Holdings in Japan.

**Key responsibilities**
- **Leadership**: Works collaboratively with the GM - Group Finance in a key leadership position. Lead the Group Accounting & Reporting team and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the Group's strategy. Plays a key role in delivery of finance driven projects & seeks to continuously improve ways of working.
- **Financial Accounting**:Lead the team to deliver month end close process and the Group's consolidation, with oversight of fixed assets and right of use policies/procedures for the group. Ensure the group complies with accounting standards and provides strong governance over financial results.
- **Financial Reporting**: Lead the team who are preparing monthly analysis of Profit & Loss, consolidation, Balance Sheet & Cashflow. Deliver insights on financial performance to support delivery of financial targets. Delivery key elements of the budget and forecasting process. Accountable for the preparation of technical accounting papers and Audit Committee papers.
- **Financial Control**:Maintain a strong and effective control environment, including ongoing assessments, whilst ensuring assigned controls are operating in line with policy and control descriptions.
- **Stakeholder Management**:Build critical relationships across the organisation and support the Executive Leadership Team in managing financial performance and risks. Manage the relationship with the External auditors and other advisors as well as supporting the Audit & Risk Committee.
- **Diversity**: Demonstrate Diversity objectives through behaviors and promotion in the workplace.

**About You**
- Tertiary Accounting qualifications plus professional membership in a globally recognized accounting body (CAA or equivalent)
- Big 4 Experience will be highly advantageous
- Significant experience leading and engaging a team in an agile environment
- Highly developed communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills across the Executive level
- Demonstrated experience in a senior finance role within a large corporate environment
- Demonstrated abilty to influence executive and senior management
- Experience in delivering end to end financial reporting including detailed knowledge on Profit & Loss, balance sheet and cashflow statements.
