Add expected salary to your profile for insights.Bluewaters Power's commitment is to support our community's transition to a new energy future through secure, low-cost generation as we continue to invest in developing our people and reliable technology.As the Asset Engineer – Mechanical, you will join a dedicated and supportive Engineering team, providing a high level of technical support at our power station based in Collie, with the opportunity to make a significant impact on plant performance.The successful candidate will be provided with opportunities to grow and develop within the role.As the Asset Engineer – Mechanical, you will:Develop and maintain asset management plans in accordance with business processes and strategic objectives.Maintain and monitor equipment life cycle costing models.Develop and execute asset maintenance or improvement projects to recognised PM standards.Develop, implement and review plant optimisation initiatives.Develop planned and forced outage work scopes, and coordinate assigned contract works during plant outages and project execution works.Carry out root cause analysis investigations, preparing and delivering proposals, reports and recommendations.Assist with the implementation and maintenance of safe operating and maintenance procedures.About you:Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.At least 3 years' experience in power generation or heavy process industry environments.Proven experience in bulk handling and processes.Ability to develop excellent working relationships with client interfaces and demonstrate the ability to identify ways to develop and add value to the organisation.Effective verbal and written communication skills and an ability to influence others.High level of computer literacy, including SAP, Permit to Work systems and Microsoft Suite.This is a wonderful opportunity for a motivated individual to work with an organisation that values their team and is willing to offer ongoing mentoring and development support.Applicants must be able to provide evidence of their right to work in Australia to be considered for this role.By providing your personal and sensitive information you agree to the following collections, uses and disclosures by Bluewaters:To provide to our psychometric testing;To provide to your referees when obtaining a reference;Other uses and disclosures are set out in our Candidates Personal Data Collection Notice is committed to investing in our people and environment to create a safe and inclusive workplace.
