**Procurement Spend Analyst**

**Parramatta**: Hybrid working (a mixture from the office and home)

**Employment type**: Ongoing full time, 35 hours work week

**Salary**: Grade 7/8 ($ 110,266 up to $ 122,058 plus employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**)**

**Your role**

You will be supporting major key projects and initiatives that contribute to procurement service delivery within Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).

This role represents a great opportunity to work on initiatives within a large, diverse organisation, as well as participate in cluster and NSW Government-wide projects.

**What you'll do**

The Procurement Spend Analyst provides procurement and analytical expertise, including research, cost modelling and analytical support services, to inform procurement and category management, decision-making and strategy. The role will be working in the Governance, Audit and Reporting team in Procurement.

What you will be doing:

- Manage and deliver procurement projects on time and on target as required for the Department to maintain and extend its procurement accreditation.
- Provide sound advice and support to the Procurement team and Business Owners across the Department on individual procurement projects, category management, supplier relationship management, policy & governance, systems and continuous improvement.
- Conduct engagement, planning and analysis that support business needs and strategic objectives.
- Provide support with Dashboarding through BI Tools such as Tableau and also knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

**What we're looking for**
- We are looking for someone with a high-level capability to hit the ground running and a can-do attitude to simplify and improve spend processes.
- You have an acute attention to detail, strong Excel skills and can demonstrate strong capability and experience working with varied stakeholders across DCJ and government.
- A Bachelor's in Data Analytics will be looked favourable upon but not mandatory
