Communications And Stakeholder Manager

As the Communications and Stakeholder Manager for Ventia in Queensland, your focus will be to develop and implement effective communication, community and stakeholder engagement strategies and plans supporting a collection of Ventia's Transport Sector projects, as well as helping to deliver Corporate Marketing and Communication objectives to support the delivery of key contract, sector and corporate initiatives for effective local rollout and maximum engagement.

Associated with the focussed accountabilities, your duties will also include, but are not limited to:

- Community and Stakeholder Management
- Develop site / activity specific stakeholder engagement plans and communications
- Administration of communications and supporting information in the document management system
- Research and mitigate potential community / stakeholder issues
- Plan and undertake proactive engagement activities with all stakeholders
- Coordinate and chair stakeholder meetings and community information displays
- Act as the primary contact for community related claims (including investigations and communicating decisions)
- Communications, Marketing and Business Development
- Develop the comms & marketing annual plan ensuring its linked to the overall business plan and sector plan
- Coordinate and write internal communications and activities (e.g., BBQ, toolboxes, Yammer posts)
- Identify and support the team in industry events (internally and externally)
- Provide strategic advice and assistance in the positioning and branding of bids and tenders
- Communications and Marketing Governance ensuring compliance with DOA
- Community and Diversity Investment which includes community engagement / sponsored events and internally supporting committees and working groups
- Promoting a positive safety, health, environment and sustainability focussed team culture
- Driving teamwork, collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives

**About You**
To be considered for the role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

- Tertiary qualifications in Comms / Marketing / PR degree
- IAP2 Certificate or similar (desirable)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role providing strategic advice and technical support in construction / maintenance related industries
- Strong understanding of brand and marketing value creation and trends
- Experience and interest in external and internal comms
- Strong confident communicator
- Experience across production and management of photography / video assets
- Self-motivated and results driven team member with a focus on delivering excellence
- Data driven decision maker to drive brand awareness and marketing objectives
