This is an exciting time to join Sunnyfield as we embark on the expansion of our services across New South Wales.About The RoleAs a Support Worker within our shared living team, you will play an essential role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live a life of their choosing.
Working in both a team environment and independently, you will provide a range of services assisting clients to live independently, be actively involved in their local community, and engaged in meaningful opportunities.This is a permanent part time position located in Cromer.
Shifts may include early morning (6am start), days, afternoons, weekends, and a wake over shift.
Flexibility to work across these shifts is a must.Key focusSupporting our clients to live as independently as possible by assisting with activities of daily living, this can include menu planning, cooking and cleaning.Supports may include personal care needs and assistance with medication.Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of a range of person-centred programs.Work to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies.Communication with families about clients' progressAbout YouYou are passionate about making a difference
