**About the Role**:
We currently have an exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity for a Meter Data Team Lead to join the Finance team.
In this role you will use your knowledge of the business processes and procedures relating to meter data and standing data to provide team leadership, training and mentoring to Meter Data Analysts and Senior Meter Data Analysts in the group.
Leading a large team this is a 12-month fixed term opportunity responsible for the compliant and efficient operation of Meter Data functions for CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy in accordance with shareholder, regulatory and customer expectations.

This role has a focus on compliance and systems, and will rely on your attention to detail, problem solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities.

**What you'll deliver**:

- Manage the meter data processing, including the timely preparation and delivery of accurate billing, and direct the workflow for meter data collection, validation, and provision, standing data, exceptions and support services for electricity sites.
- Provide the Meter Data Manager with technical direction in relation to any rule or regulation changes, and ensure all meter and market data is maintained in accordance with AEMO Service Level Requirements
- Lead the team ensuring continuous success, understanding and compliance in systems and processes, and mentoring of team members.
- Monitor the performance of market systems and act as an escalation point for any performance issues and provide impact analysis on system and process changes.
- Act as the liaison for issues that arise from external and internal sources and ensure that appropriate communication and action is undertaken.
- Ensure that all Meter Data Analysts and Senior Meter Data Analysts provide Powerful Customer Service to increase customer satisfaction.

**To succeed in this role, you'll have**:

- A Tertiary qualification within Business Management or related discipline or demonstrated experience in a similar type role
- Strong experience in National Electricity Market operations and associated IT systems.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, fostering a collaborative and high performing team environment.
- Analytical skills with a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work in a timely and effective manner.
