About the Company A nationally recognized leader in premium outsourced transport & logistics services, this long-established and highly stable organization has set the benchmark in operational safety, regulatory compliance, and customer commitment.
Operating at significant scale across multiple sites with a unique blend of employees, contractors, and assets, the company is known for its robust governance and its ability to deliver critical, high-value solutions to public and private sector clients alike.
With strong corporate backing and a mandate for innovation, this organization is embarking on an exciting growth and transformation phase.
About the Role Reporting directly to the CEO and forming part of the executive leadership team, the Chief Operations Officer will have overarching accountability for the strategic development and national delivery of high-quality, regulated services.
The role leads state-based and specialist operational teams, directly impacting revenue, efficiency, safety, customer experience, and commercial outcomes.
This is a rare opportunity to shape strategy, drive major systems transformation, and execute daily through a team that spans frontline, technical, support, and compliance functions.
Responsibilities include operational excellence, KPI achievement, change leadership, cost control, contractor management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

You bring hands-on experience leading diverse teams, managing P&L and budgets at scale, and instituting high-performance practices in regulated, safety-critical settings.
Demonstrated experience overseeing quality (ISO), legislative, and contract compliance is essential, as is your strength in talent development, uplifting capability, and successful change management.
Resilience, pragmatic leadership, and a collaborative, "lead by example" style are key.
Why Join Join an industry leader with a unique corporate structure and the financial strength to invest in growth, technology, and people.
Shape the future of a business already respected for its compliance, customer value, and service standards.
Collaborate with a seasoned, supportive executive team on high-impact, strategic projects.
High profile, national remit with the ability to influence culture and make a real mark, including a genuine pathway to the CEO position for outstanding performers.
Competitive remuneration, substantial autonomy, and a powerful platform for career advancement.
