With specific responsibility for supporting the Operations function, you will report to the Operations Manager and will work closely with local site transport and the warehousing team to deliver a range of general administration duties using SAP, Microsoft Office and hard copy files.Key Responsibilities and TasksTo complete all administrative duties within agreed time scalesTo produce and process dispatch paperwork, raise purchase orders and scan various documentationLiaise with 3rd Party logistics via email & phoneContinuously review all activities adopting a "can do" and proactive approachBe compliant with all legislative and statutory requirementsWe Are Looking ForThe successful candidate will:-Be proficient in SAPHave good communication skills, excellent attention to detail/accuracy and be able to work alone when required.Be self-motivated, focused, flexible, numerate, possess excellent organisational skills along with strong IT skillsBe highly motivated, ideally with experience of admin tasks and Planning.Be capable of working on your own initiative in what will be a key role to the efficient operation of the site.Work within a warehouse environment and adhere to all PPE and health and safety requirements.Univar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to the safety, health, and wellbeing of our daily lives - from life-saving medicines and vitamins to hand sanitizers and industrial materials used for cleaning, construction, and more.
