Patch Personnel has been engaged by a
**Resources Exploration Company** within exploration and production. The company has a portfolio of assets located in Queensland, South Australia as well as the Northern Territory. Currently, within their Brisbane Office there is an opportunity for an Exploration Geologist to join this company.

Reporting to the Exploration Manager, as the
**Exploration Geologist** you will sit in the Geology, Geophysics and Minerals Department, whereby you will be to create and implement mineral field exploration and drilling programs, within their Australian assets.

**About the Role**

Your role with mainly have focus on Exploration and Project Planning & Development, specifically:

- Plan and execute a broad range of field-based programs, in their asset portfolio within QLD, NT and SA
- Conduct desktop research and GIS Mapping to support the Project Exploration Geologist in actively progress early-stage mineral prospects, drive outcomes as directed by the Executive Management Team
- Attend, monitor, and support field reconnaissance, sampling, drilling and rehabilitation on activities i.e. on-site drill program supervision, fieldwork (rock & soil sampling), field and drilling data entry
- GIS Mapping and Data Mining_ _by utilizing the relevant software licences to collate historical information and identify potential mineral resources within and adjacent to the company's tenures
- Support wholly owned Australian mineral assets, working with the Company's shared services departments i.e. Procurement & Finance, as well as external parties including Contractors and Consultants, whilst adhering to standard approvals procedures

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Have Tertiary Qualification in Geology
- Demonstrate your working knowledge and prior experience within a field-based, mineral geology and exploration role
- Excellent communications skills with internal stakeholders i.e. Project Team, other Resource Departments, and the Executive Management Team and Board; and external parties such as Contractors (Soil Sampling, Field Mapping, Drill Chip & Core Logging, and Laboratories as well as Consultants
- You will thrive in a collaborative team environment as well as being able to autonomously drive your outcomes, and ensure delivery of project deliverables
- Possess Current First Aid Certificate and Drivers Licence
