Weir Minerals has introduced this newly created role to transform our original equipment sales process through the integration of product selection, configuration, pricing and quote capabilities into the end-to-end process.
The Program Manager will take ownership of the various in-flight cross-functional programs of work, driving a strong governance structure, prioritisation, change management and successful on-time outcomes including business adoption, standardization of the sales process and faster and accurate quoting with full process visibility, workflow and tracking. The role will work closely with senior leadership, multiple internal teams and the adopting businesses. This is a global initiative, and all regions will be involved in the phased implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Re-affirm overall program scope, objectives and key deliverables in alignment with strategic business goals.- Coordinate program governance and change control, including Executive Steering Committees, working groups, stakeholder forums. Oversee scope and managed change, working with the program change manager, ensuring all program adjustments and updates are effectively controlled and communicated particularly to the impacted minerals business.- Deliver clear and concise reporting to the Minerals executive team and other stakeholders.- Coordinate and direct cross-functional teams across technology, product, engineering, sales including regional adoption teams. Current areas of activity include, Product Lifecycle Mgt (PLM), Configure to Order (CPO/CPQ), Engineering Systems incl. Warman Select, Salesforce/SAP integrations.- Provide effective indirect leadership by directing and collaborating with stakeholders and project teams- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Experience delivering cross-functional programs within an agile environment- Proven ability to manage end-to-end program lifecycle, from planning through execution and benefits realisation.- Strong ability to manage cross-functional global relationships and lead teams toward shared goals through excellent communication within a matrix environment.- Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence team leaders, stakeholders and executive leaders with demonstrated experience in preparing Steering Committee and Executive-level reporting and communication.- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, heavy industry or mining industries will be considered favourably.
