Your new opportunityIn this newly created position as the People and Culture Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and unique team. You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that support the Queensland Treasury workforce to be the best they can be. Your highly developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organisational, and administrative skills will be put to good use in this role.
Your workAs the Coordinator for the People and Culture team, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful planning and delivery of various programs and events. Your experience in event management and logistics, along with your keen eye for detail, will be essential.You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a diverse range of programs and events, including diversity events, leadership development programs, graduate programs, internship programs, cultural capability programs, and training events. Your background in communications and events will enable you to effectively plan and organise these initiatives. An understanding of human resources and the work that we do to support our workforce would further assist you to coordinate and support our programs and events.
In addition to managing the logístical aspects of programs and events, you will also provide financial and business support to the team. This will involve budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
Your role will require proactive engagement with internal and external stakeholders. By cultivating professional relationships, you will facilitate seamless collaboration and ensure the successful delivery of our programs. Your excellent communication skills will be key in effectively conveying information and building strong partnerships.
As a program Coordinator, you will exercise judgment and initiative in decisionmaking. This includes proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges, finding innovative solutions, and ensuring the smooth operation of programs and events.
Overall, your role as the People and Culture Coordinator will be dynamic and multifaceted, requiring a combination of event management expertise, strongattention to detail, Human resources knowledge, financial acumen, and effective communication. Your contributions will play a vital role in creating engaging and impactful experiences for Treasury's workforce.
**What experience you will bring**: While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, relevant experience in event management, communications, and human resources will be highly regarded. If you have a background in these areas, you'll be well-equipped to excel in this role.
