**Velocity Support Services -** is a NDIS Mental Health Specific Provider. We are currently seeking reliable and passionate Support workers to provide person cantered, complex care and behavioural support to our participants. This will be a casual position based in Ipswich. Knowledge, understanding and a willingness to learn about various conditions and mental health is key. Personal, lived experience with disability and mental health is highly regarded.

**The work location**:
You will primarily be supporting NDIS Participants in Ipswich Area.

Your responsibilities will include ability to access our app for clocking in and out of shifts in-home support, home domestic duties, community access, transportation, report, and documentation. You will also be required to provide the highest standard of care to our participants.

**To be eligible for this position, you will be required (but not limited to)**:

- To be able to work unsupervised with vulnerable participants and assisting them with their daily activities to meet their goals details in their individual plans.
- Provide consistent support, encourage, and motivate participants to meet their goals and independent skills building, through person centered practices.
- Supporting participants with company access events and services.
- Assisting individuals to and from Community-Based activities and medical appointments when required.
- Provide dressing assistance and hygiene needs when required.
- Great communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with clients.
- Experience with behaviours of concern (not mandatory)
- Accurate, detailed, reports and relevant documentations
- Willing to pick-up last-minute shifts
- Availability and willingness to do sleep overs / active nights (when required).
- We can offer a variety of shifts - Afternoon, Day, Morning, Weekends.
- Detail your availability to support across a 24 hour 7-day roster.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
